Site specific work, created during a residency with the Shock Forest Group collective at Het Hem, Zaandam. Using an interactive display, the audience engages in a dialog with the tree trunk in front of them. Through answering questions, the audience shapes their own soundscape and pattern of lines on the screen.

The tree trunk came from "Het Schok Bos", a forest near Het Hem, built as a testing grounds for the ammunition factory that Het Hem used to be. This was one of the last trees removed from the forest in a process to decontaminate the soil. 

After the exhibit, we made a web version of the work.
