Dynamic Anatomy (2017)

A HoloLens application enabling a new way to learn about the anatomy of the ankle joint, developed in a collaboration between Leiden University's Medical Centre and Centre for Innovation

Using a motion sensing system, users can control movements of the hologram in real time with their own foot movements. This enables an embodied learning experience.

The project won the 2017 TEDX education award. It was featured in Dutch TV show Buitendienst, Dutch news channel Volkskrant and in the Holosuite at Microsoft's Amsterdam office.

My role: developing a custom motion tracking solution.

The app can be downloaded for free in the Microsoft Store.
