TUMBLE BOX (2015)

Art/Technology

Tumble Box is changing the colour as you are interacting with it. It might be a search as we might look for what is real and what is not. In this search new patterns appear and the colour may even seem to tumble.

The installation consists of a beamer that is projection mapped to the inside of a box  that is painted with red, green and blue patterns. Interference between the projected and painted colours cause apparent movements in the painted patterns.

The installation encourages curiosity as the box exposes different visual and auditory sides of itself when visitors interact with it.

In collaboration with Dagmar Geerlings.
