I did the concept development and interaction design of an Android app that challenges users to collaboratively create music through their smartphones.

 

Users can start a project by recording a short audio loop. In order to add more layers to the loop they have to invite a friend from within the app to record a layer on top of the original. This person can in his turn invite someone else to add a layer. This process continues until the track is finished. In this way a growing network is created where people get in touch with each other in a fun and creative way.
